About

Ondřej Trojan (born 31 December 1959 in Prague) is a Czech film producer, director and member of the theatre ensemble Sklep. In 1992 he co-founded the production company Total HelpArt T.H.A., which backed Jan Hřebejk's films Cosy Dens and Divided We Fall - the latter earning an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. As a director he made Želary (also Oscar-nominated), Identity Card and Toman. Since 2014 he has run a summer film and music festival, held in Slavonice for eleven years and relaunched as Litomyšl Fest in 2025.

    Trojan's summer festival moved from Slavonic to Litomyšl in 2025 and took place under the new name Litomyšl Fest from July 30 to August 3.
