Olie Brice is a British double bassist, composer and improviser based in London's avant-garde jazz scene. His quartet - with saxophonist Rachel Musson, pianist Alexander Hawkins and drummer Will Glaser - blends composed material with open-ended free improvisation. Their debut album All It Was captures the group moving between fragility and raw free-jazz expression.
