Nikola Emma Ryšavá (born 1990, Prague) is a Czech sculptor who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Lukáš Rittstein, having come to sculpture via ceramics and wooden toy design. Her work is populated by surreal, often anthropomorphic figures - grotesque, emotional, sometimes unsettling - rooted in literature, psychoanalysis and her own inner world. She has exhibited in the Czech Republic and abroad, including Italy, Australia and Portugal.
