About

Nikola Meeuwsen (born 2002, The Hague) is a Dutch pianist who in 2025 became the first Dutch musician ever to win First Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, one of the world's most demanding classical music contests. His repertoire spans Bach to Prokofiev, and he is equally at home in solo recitals and chamber music. In the 2025/26 season he is touring China, Korea, Japan and Brazil, and appears as soloist with orchestras including the Rotterdam and Netherlands Philharmonic.
