
Summer in Motion
Third edition of a summer festival of site-specific movement performances in Ústí nad Labem. The programme includes a workshop and dance performance by local and invited artists.
Natálie Vacková is a Czech dancer, choreographer and performer working in contemporary dance. She trained at the Duncan Centre conservatory and completed a master's programme in choreography and direction at HAMU in Prague, including an SNDO Intensive Course at Amsterdam University of the Arts. She co-founded Dočasná Company, a collective bridging contemporary dance with physical theatre and other art forms, and works on the production team of the PONEC dance venue and the Tanec Praha festival. Her choreographic work frequently engages with environmental themes, most notably in her professional debut Callin' Gaia (2024).
The outdoor performance installation 'Místa mezi námi' was re-presented in public space in Prague in collaboration with DanceConnected at Kulturní stanice Galaxie (June 3, 2026).
Natálie Vacková completed her master's studies in choreography at HAMU with the graduate project 'Místa mezi námi' - a site-specific dance in the public space of Prague's Palmovky (premiere June 5, 2025).
At the PONEC theatre, she presented her professional choreographic debut 'Callin' Gaia', a movement-sound project dedicated to the theme of the Anthropocene.
The premiere of the 'Callin' Gaia' production took place on October 31, 2023 at the PONEC theatre; the project was created in co-production with Tanec Praha.
The Dočasná Company presented its full-length debut production 'Lidé Antropocénu / OUR LAND WE PLANT' at the PONEC theatre (premiere May 6, 2022).
