Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791) was an Austrian composer of the Classical era and one of the most influential figures in the history of Western music. He composed over 600 works, including symphonies, piano concertos, and operas. His opera The Magic Flute (1791) remains one of the most performed operas in the world.
