Morbyda are a blackened speed metal band from Leipzig, Germany, formed in 2022. Their sound draws on 80s NWOBHM and classic speed metal, pushed into darker, more aggressive territory. The band's name references the Leipzig Meuten - groups of anti-Nazi youth from the 1930s. Their debut album Under the Spell came out in June 2025 on Dying Victims Productions.
