Hellripper is a Scottish metal act from Aberdeen, started by James McBain in 2014 as a one-man project. The music blends black metal with thrash and speed metal, drawing heavily on the raw energy of 1980s underground releases. The 2020 album The Affair of the Poisons is among their best-known works.
