Mirek Linhart (born 27 November 1963 in Prague) is a Czech guitarist whose career spans the Prague reggae and soul scene of the 1980s through to the current Czech pop-rock circuit. He joined Yo Yo Band at seventeen and played on their landmark album Karviná (1993), which won three Czech Grammy awards and went platinum with 130,000 copies sold. Since January 2012 he has been the guitarist in Luboš Pospíšil & 5P; their joint album Soukromá elegie (2014) earned a gold disc and drew the band's best reviews of the new millennium. He has also performed with Lenka Filipová and various other projects.
