Music Festival
A music festival at Masaryk Theatre in Jičín starting at 14:00.
Mikuláš Tichý is a Czech composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist from the Posázaví region, whose landscape shapes much of his creative output. He studied composition at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague and works both as a solo artist and as a member of the band Rach. His instrumental music weaves classical composition together with minimalism and electronic layers - he has scored the computer game Here To Stay and the theatre production Sláva dcery at Prague's La Fabrika, and has performed across Europe with the Stro_my ensemble.
Mikuláš Tichý performed as part of the Calmake platform together with Jiří Trtík, Jana Vöröšová and the ensemble Stro.My at the Smíchov Community Space.
As part of the Calmake platform, Tichý performed a solo concert at the Atrium on Žižkov.
The band Rach, of which Tichý is the pianist and composer, released their second EP Vlastním kruhem on the Indies Scope label.
Tichý embarked on a European tour with the ensemble Stro_my, during which he presented the composition Restless Being written for the 200th anniversary of Bedřich Smetana's birth.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
