Michel Galabru was a French actor with a career spanning more than 200 film and theatre roles. He is best remembered as the bumbling Commissioner Juve in the Gendarme of Saint-Tropez series alongside Louis de Funès. He also worked with directors such as Bertrand Tavernier and lent his voice to the French animated film Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre.
