
Wake Me Up When September Ends: Laokoon, Ctib, Labasheeda...
The second edition of Wake Me Up When September Ends festival at Kafara features concerts, talks, and lectures with Laokoon, Ctib, Labasheeda, and other Czech and international artists.
Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab is a five-piece psychedelic band from Pilsen, Czech Republic, active since early 2019. The lineup - Jan Bukovjan (vocals, sax, flute, guitar), Ondřej Vávra (vocals, guitar), Viktor Eberle (vocals, keys, synths), Marek Sobota (bass) and Matěj Šolc (drums) - draws on psychedelic rock, jazz and krautrock, releasing three studio albums and a video game soundtrack by 2025. Over five years they have established themselves as one of the more distinctive acts on the Czech psych scene, completing several European tours.
In February 2026, the band released a remix of the track Shrub In Bloom by the project Waste The Silence.
In August 2025, the band performed as the opening act for the American band Osees at the Prague MeetFactory.
On May 30, 2025, the double album Sorcerers Laughing Out In The Heat was released, recorded in the summer of 2024 in a home studio.
For the double album, the band conducted the spring tour Late Spring Blooming Tour 2025 with stops in Liberec, Strakonice, Brno, Olomouc, and the Polish Krakow.
In March 2024, the band released a soundtrack to the indie computer game Felvidék, on which it collaborated with illustrator and game developer Jozef Pavelka.
