The Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra's Combo Ensemble performs an evening of original jazz compositions at PETROF Gallery in Hradec Králové.
The Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra (MNJO) is a state-funded big band based in Skopje, formally established as a national institution in 2024. It brings together leading Macedonian jazz musicians alongside internationally renowned guest soloists - from Kurt Elling and Donny McCaslin to the Yellowjackets. Under conductor and composer Vladimir Nikolov, the orchestra has built a presence beyond North Macedonia, performing at festivals in Zagreb, Sarajevo and Split and touring Budapest, Prague and Vienna.
The orchestra performed at the Brussels Bozar with the program Macedonian Dreams.
The orchestra opened the 2026 season with a performance with strings at the Macedonian Philharmonic.
The sold-out concert Rock 'n' Roll in Jazz at the Macedonian Philharmonic welcomed guests Rambo Amadeus, Darko Rundek and Vlatko Stefanovski.
The orchestra undertook a European tour with the program Macedonian Dreams - performing in Budapest, Prague and Vienna.
The orchestra performed with American saxophonist Donny McCaslin at the Macedonian National Theatre in Skopje.
