Lukáš Macháček is a Czech fashion designer with Moravian roots who works under his own label. He trained at the fashion school in Prostějov and won his first competition with a debut collection in 2007. He has collaborated with leading Czech models and showbusiness figures, and his work has reached the British royal court; he also created a custom headpiece for Madonna. His collection Hanácká, on show at Jurkovičova vila, draws on folk tradition and the Haná region, weaving rustic influences into contemporary ceremonial dress.
