Stand-up comedy night on the terrace of Hotel Thermal in Karlovy Vary featuring three comedians: Dominik Vu, Lucie Macháčková, and Jiří Charvát.
Lucie Macháčková (born 12 December 1986 in Čejč) is a Czech stand-up comedian, screenwriter and author. She discovered stand-up comedy during a study placement in the UK and has since performed in both Czech and English across Germany, Britain, Poland, Hungary and Austria. Her debut book Historky z Tinderu became a national bestseller, and her follow-up Svatební historky aneb Jak jsem se nevdala won the Magnesia Litera award for best humour book in 2024. On the screenwriting side, she co-wrote the drama series Děcko for Czech Television (2025) and is developing the feature film Hubatá with director Jiří Vejdělek, due in cinemas in 2027.
Macháčková is preparing a new book Historky pod peřinou for autumn 2025, this time focused on the topic of sex.
Together with director Jiřím Vejdělkem, she launched a new podcast about relationships, love and sex.
Her new book Historky all inclusive about travel mishaps was published by Ikar publishing house.
Czech Television presented a ten-part drama series Děcko, whose screenplay Macháčková wrote together with Kateřinou Krobovou.
For the book Historky z Tinderu 2, she was nominated for the Magnesia Litera award in the humorous writing category.
