Lucie Macháčková is a Czech stand-up comedian, scriptwriter and author who has been performing since 2014, both in Czech and English. She is best known for her bestselling Historky z Tinderu book series and won the Magnesia Litera literary award in 2024 for Svatební historky aneb Jak jsem se nevdala. Alongside her stage work, she writes for Czech Television and appears regularly on Comedy Club (Paramount Network).
In October 2025, Macháčková published a new book Historky all inclusive (Ikar publishing house) about travel mishaps and life's vicissitudes; the book launch took place on October 15 at the Luxor Palace of Books in Prague.
In September and December 2025, she conducted a tour 'Lucie 40 let' with stops in London, Ostrava, Brno, Prague, and Plzen.
Czech Television in January 2025 premiered a ten-part drama series Děcko, co-authored by Macháčková.
Together with director Jiří Vejdělkem, she wrote the screenplay for the film Hubatá, inspired by her books; the premiere is planned for 2027.
In August 2025, she launched a new podcast created together with film director Jiří Vejdělkem about relationships, love, and sex.
