Louis Prima was an American jazz trumpeter, singer, and composer of Italian descent, active mainly in the 1940s–60s. He was known for his energetic blend of jazz, swing, and rhythm and blues. Among his best-known compositions are "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Just a Gigolo".
