The iconic Irish dance spectacular Lord of the Dance returns to Prague's O2 Arena, bringing world-class tap and step dancing, live music, and dazzling costumes to the stage.
Lord of the Dance is an Irish dance spectacular created by Michael Flatley in 1996, blending traditional step dancing with contemporary choreography, live music and theatrical lighting. It premiered at Dublin's Point Theatre in June 1996 and has since been seen by over 60 million people across 60 countries, grossing more than $1 billion. Flatley retired from performing in 2016 but continues to direct the production as its creator and choreographer.
Lord of the Dance launched a major British tour for the 30th anniversary of the show - from June to October 2026 it will visit over 20 cities including Bradford, Leicester, Manchester, Edinburgh and London.
The Belfast court heard a legal dispute between Michael Flatley and Switzer Consulting regarding control of the Lord of the Dance show in connection with the anniversary tour.
Lord of the Dance returned to Australia after ten years - the tour in August and September 2025 included Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney.
The 2024 world tour for the 25th anniversary of the show featured over 250 stops and brought renewed scenography, new costumes and modernized technology.
