La Rey (born Larissa, 1993) is a rapper and singer from Dresden who has been performing since 2017 and turned professional in 2021. Her sound is rooted in 90s boom bap but draws on electronic and singer-songwriter elements, with lyrics that move between the personal and the political. Live, she is joined by DJ Miss Hyde and rapper KeemiKaze, or by the Dresden brass band Banda Comunale. Her debut EP Self Reminder, made with producer S Dope, came out in March 2026.
