Kapralova Quartet is a Czech all-female string quartet founded in 1995 as Venus Quartet Prague. In 2000 it took the name of Czech composer Vítězslava Kaprálová. The ensemble covers classical and Romantic repertoire alongside 20th-century music - it is one of the few quartets to have the complete string quartet output of Alfred Schnittke in its programme. It performs regularly across Europe and beyond, and collaborates with leading orchestras.
