Kapela Hrůzy is the Czech band that singer, guitarist and songwriter Michal Hrůza formed in 2006 after parting ways with Ready Kirken. Together they have released seven studio albums - from Bílá velryba (2007) to Kouzlo samoty (2025) - and Hrůza has written music for numerous Czech films and TV series. He won the Anděl Award for Male Singer of the Year in 2014.
Michal Hrůza released his seventh solo studio album Kouzlo samoty on November 28, 2025 on all streaming platforms; the physical copy on CD and LP was released a week later.
A music video was released for the title track of the album Kouzlo samoty, composed partly from footage from Hrůza's October journey beyond the Arctic Circle, during which he traveled almost 6,000 kilometers.
The premiere of the album Kouzlo samoty took place on March 19, 2026 at the Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.
In April 2025, Hrůza released the single N.Y.C., which subsequently appeared on the album Kouzlo samoty.
