About

Kalle is a Czech alternative duo from Tábor, formed by vocalist Veronika Zemanová and guitarist David Zeman. Their music blends slowcore and trip hop with electronic textures and darker rock, producing an intimate, introspective sound that critics have likened to a Nordic soul. Three studio albums - Live from the Room (2014), Saffron Hills (2017) and Under the Black Moss (2022) - have earned them three Anděl awards and the Apollo Music Critics Award.

    Kalle returned to Prague after three years with a concert at the Akropolis Palace (April 7, 2026).

  • 2026-08

    For summer 2026, the band is announced for an open-air performance at the Chapel of St. Joseph in Radvanic (August 1, 2026).

  • 2022-11

    In November 2022, the third studio album Under the Black Moss was released, for which the band received the Anděl and Apollo awards.
