A guided 2-hour walking tour exploring the sites of the 1942 assassination of Reichsprotektor Heydrich by paratroopers Gabčík and Kubiš, led by historian Jiří Hendrich.
Josef Gabčík was a Slovak soldier and paratrooper, one of the two main operatives behind Operation Anthropoid. Together with Jan Kubiš, he carried out the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, Acting Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, in Prague on 27 May 1942. He was killed on 18 June 1942 during the Nazi siege of the Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Methodius, where the paratroopers had taken refuge.
