John Németh (born March 10, 1975 in Boise, Idaho) is an American electric blues singer, harmonica player, and songwriter based in Memphis since 2013. He came up through the San Francisco blues scene, filling in for Sam Myers in Anson Funderburgh's Rockets, before signing with Blind Pig Records in 2006. Over a 20-plus-year recording career he has earned five Blues Music Awards and contributed to Elvin Bishop's Grammy-nominated album.
In March 2026, Németh launched the Spring Fever Tour as headliner of the 33rd River City Blues Festival in Marietta, Ohio.
At the 47th Blues Music Awards (2026), Németh is nominated in four categories, including Band of the Year for John Németh & The Blue Dreamers.
In September 2026, Németh will perform with the band The Blue Dreamers at the Big Blues Bender festival in Las Vegas.
In 2024, Németh won the Blues Music Award in the Soul Blues Male Artist category.
In February 2023, he released the live album Live from the Fallout Shelter: Celebrating 20 Years on the Nola Blue Records label, recorded shortly before jaw surgery.
