Jaroslav Durych (1886–1962) was a Czech writer, military doctor, and devout Catholic. He is best known for his historical novel Bloudění (Wandering), set during the Thirty Years' War. Throughout his career he maintained a distinctly Catholic worldview and remained outside the mainstream literary currents of his era.
