Jan Lašťovička is a Czech musician and artistic director of the folk group Asonance, which specialises in Irish and Scottish ballads, dances and instrumental pieces. He plays guitar, bouzouki, Irish uilleann pipes and other instruments, and writes Czech lyrics for the group's songs. Asonance is celebrating its 50th season.
