Jakub Rybárik is a Slovak stage and film actor born on 17 April 1986 in Bratislava. He trained at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) from 2004 to 2008, spent fifteen years at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, and has been a member of the Slovak National Theatre drama ensemble since 2022. He has won the Literary Fund Award three times and is widely known from the Slovak political thrillers Únos (2017) and Sviňa (2020).
Rybárik was nominated for the Dosky 2025 award for best male acting performance in the production Am Fluss/Pri rieke (Činohra SND and Schauspielhaus in Vienna).
In June 2025, the production Duchovia sú tiež len ľudia premiered at SND, in which Rybárik plays a caregiver alongside Robert Roth.
In March 2025, the play Život je pes Gertrudy S. premiered at SND, where Rybárik played several roles including the dog Basket, Leo Stein, and Pablo Picasso.
In April 2025, Rybárik was a guest on the talk show Hosť Rádia Slovensko on Radio Slovakia.
In January 2023, Rybárik together with his colleagues from SND received the Tatra banka Foundation Award in the theater category for co-authoring the production 24.
