Jade Venom is a Hungarian drum and bass DJ and producer born in Budapest, real name Gábor Simon. Recording as Jade from 2004 on Citrus and Blackout, he helped define the neurofunk sound with his 2009 debut album Venom LP - tracks like "No Cure" and "Venom" feat. RymeTyme are now regarded as genre classics. In 2011 he founded the Eatbrain label, which has grown into one of the most respected neurofunk imprints worldwide, and rebranded himself as Jade Venom.
