Ivan Olbracht (1882–1952) was a Czech writer and journalist known for socially critical prose. He spent several years in Subcarpathian Ruthenia, drawing on local stories for his work. His novel Nikola Šuhaj loupežník (1933), based on a real Carpathian outlaw, earned him the State Prize for Literature.
