About

Ice Hokku is a Tel Aviv-based indie-pop duo formed by singer Julia Garnits and guitarist Anton Dmitriev, originally founded in Russia in 2016 and relocated to Israel in 2017. Their live shows are built around real-time loop stations that layer guitars, synthesizers, drum machines and vocals into a dense electronic-acoustic sound with Middle Eastern undertones. The duo has played over 200 gigs across Europe, Central Asia, Vietnam and Japan, and has appeared at festivals including Music Lane Okinawa and Mind on Fire in Germany.
