Iannis Xenakis
About
Iannis Xenakis (1922–2001) was a Greek-French composer and architect, one of the most important figures of the 20th-century avant-garde. He pioneered the use of mathematical models — including stochastic processes and set theory — in musical composition. His works include the orchestral piece Metastaseis and the percussion solo Psappha.
