Grande Moravia Ladislava Pavluše

About

Grande Moravia is a thirty-piece Moravian orchestra led by Ladislav Pavluš, a conservatory-trained musician who built the ensemble from a small cimbalom band. The group keeps the cimbalom at its sonic core while expanding into strings, winds and vocals, covering a repertoire that ranges from Ennio Morricone film scores to world melodies and seasonal programmes. A landmark in the orchestra's history was its 2010 collaboration with Czech pop legend Karel Gott.
