Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo is the touring project of Diego Baliardo, co-founder of the original Gipsy Kings, a group that formed in the late 1970s in southern France and brought flamenco-driven rumba to global audiences. The band carries on the legacy of hits like Bamboleo, Djobi Djoba and Volare - a catalog behind over 60 million albums sold and a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album. Diego, born into a Spanish Gitano family settled in the south of France, was a founding guitarist of the group and now leads it alongside fellow family musicians.
