Gerhard Forman

About

Gerhard Forman is an Austrian conductor and music educator based in Retz, Lower Austria. He has led the local music school since 1999 and in 2003 founded the SBO Retz wind orchestra, which under his baton won prizes at competitions including the Flicorno d'Oro in Italy and the international wind band contest in Valencia, Spain. Since 2023 he has served as Landeskapellmeister of the Lower Austrian Wind Music Association.
