František Maxmilián Kaňka (1674–1766) was a prominent Czech Baroque architect who worked mainly in Bohemia. He contributed to numerous Baroque buildings and estates across the region. Among his works, he extended the garden of the Černín Palace in Prague by adding a summer pavilion (orangery). He ranks among the key figures of 18th-century Czech Baroque architecture.
