František Bořík

About

František Bořík (born 27 May 1989 in Plzeň) is a Czech keyboardist who joined the Plzeň pop-rock band Mandrage in 2009. With the band he recorded six studio albums, won the Anděl Award for Group of the Year, and toured extensively across the Czech Republic. He also works as a sideman - most notably as part of the core band of actor and singer Igor Orozovič.

    Mandrage frontman Vít Starý spoke up again on social media in 2024; guitarist Pepa Bolan admitted that Starý would like to play again, but not all band members share his interest in a comeback.

    Mandrage performed their last concert in January 2020 at Forum Karlín, and the band ended their activities due to health problems of frontman Vít Starý.

    Mandrage announced a suspension of activities and cancellation of the Dlouhej únor tour; the reason was a difficult life period for singer Vít Starý.
