Fourplay is an American jazz fusion group formed in 1991, consisting of Bob James, Lee Ritenour (later replaced by Larry Carlton and then Chuck Loeb), Harvey Mason, and Nathan East. The group is known for their smooth, melodic blend of jazz, soul, and R&B, and has released numerous acclaimed albums since their debut.
