Fireball is a hard rock band from Zlín, Czech Republic, founded in 2000 by guitarist Jiří "Pecka" Petřkovský. Drawing on the sound of 1970s-90s hard rock, the band emphasises tight riffs and instrumental craft. Their three studio albums span from the debut "Fireball 2000" through the English-language "Wake Up" (2015) to the all-Czech "1984" (2022), recorded at Studio AudioStar in Zlín. They are a regular presence on Czech rock festivals and once opened for British rock veterans U.F.O.
The band Fireball performed on October 14, 2025 at the GREEN club in Brno.
Fireball released their third studio album "1984" recorded in the summer of 2022 at AudioStar studio in Zlín under the sound direction of Radomír Staněk.
The new drummer of the band became Jindřich Krč, known from the bands Jarní únava and Fat Boys, after whom Pedro Cígl from Olomouc took over the drums.
