Chinara Alizade (born 1987, Moscow) is an Azerbaijani-Russian prima ballerina who spent twelve years with the Bolshoi Theatre company before joining the Polish National Ballet (Teatr Wielki) in Warsaw as a principal in 2015. She holds the title of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan (2012) and won the Jan Kiepura Prize for best classical dancer in Poland (2020). As a guest artist she has performed at La Scala, Covent Garden, and stages in Paris, Tbilisi, Riga and Barcelona.
Chinara Alizade performed in December 2024 on the stage of Teatr Wielki - Opera Narodowa in Warsaw.
In an interview for Caspian Post, Alizade stated that as a guest star she focuses on performances around the world - most recently in Tbilisi, Rize, and in the summer in Paris.
Alizade confirmed that she does not plan to return to Russia and is considering further guest performances abroad, including in Greece (Thessaloniki).
Chinara Alizade received the Jan Kiepura Prize as the best classical dancer of Poland.
The Polish National Ballet with Alizade in the leading role went on tour to Canada with a production of Swan Lake.
