Élise Vigneron is a French puppeteer, visual artist and director, and founder of the company Théâtre de l'Entrouvert. She trained in fine arts and circus before graduating from the École nationale supérieure des arts de la marionnette in Charleville-Mézières. Her work centres on ice as a living, ephemeral material - seen in productions such as Anywhere (2016) and Les Vagues after Virginia Woolf. She co-created Mizu with dancer Satchie Noro, a piece in which an ice puppet melts in real time before the audience.
