Doctor Victor is a Prague rock trio founded in 2012 by singer-guitarist Vojtěch Bureš, a graduate of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and Berklee College of Music scholarship holder. The band has opened for AC/DC, Deep Purple and Jack White, and worked with musicians from Prince's and Michael Jackson's circles. In 2025, Bureš recorded the entire album 2nd Prescription solo as a multi-instrumentalist at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Vojtěch Bureš performed as a special guest of the band LUCIE at the Prague concert of Hollywood Vampires (September 6, 2026) and twelve days later Doctor Victor played at Lucerna Music Bar with bassist Ida Nielsen, a collaborator of Prince.
The 2nd Prescription Tour culminated on March 27, 2026 at M-klub in Vysoké Mýto - the tour included stops in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, and Děčín.
Vojtěch Bureš became the first Czech to record an entire original album by himself at Abbey Road Studios - the result, the album 2nd Prescription, was premiered live on September 18, 2025 at the packed Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.
The album 2nd Prescription was released as a limited edition of 500 vinyl records.
Doctor Victor shared the studio with Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett, the iconic drummer of Michael Jackson, whose recordings are to be heard on the new album.
