About

Ondřej, performing as DJ Ondrey the Story, is a Czech DJ and the founder of Ecstatic Dance Prague, a conscious dance project he launched in 2019. Before that he travelled widely, drawing inspiration from dance communities in Bali, Thailand, the Netherlands, Canada and Ibiza. He plays ecstatic dance events and festivals across several countries and spends part of the year in Bali, where he is building a community retreat centre.

    In January 2026, Ondrey the Story held event #165 in the project's new home space - Žižkostel in Prague.

    The Ecstatic Dance Prague project entered its 7th year and moved to Tresor Club in Vinohrady with a capacity of up to 200 dancers.

    In August 2025, the Ecstatic Dance Prague project celebrated its 6th birthday with an all-day open-air event by a lake in Prague.
