About

Divadlo Pruhované panenky is a Czech puppet-theatre ensemble for children, founded in 2009 by Mona Šiška and Lenka Chaloupka Hušková. The two performers write, compose and sing all the music themselves, and hand-make the puppets, costumes and sets. Shows are aimed at children aged 2.5 to 9 and always include an interactive craft workshop. The ensemble has performed at the National Theatre in Prague and tours venues across the Czech Republic.

The ensemble performed the play "The Three Disobedient Kids" on the summer stage of the castle in Valašské Meziříčí.

The ensemble performed the shadow play "The Legend of St. Martin" with live music and an accompanying workshop for children.
