About

Deratizéři are a folk-punk-rock band from Slaný, Czech Republic, formed in 1999 as a side project of Sváťa Šváb, singer and bassist of the punk-rock group Totální nasazení. What started as a studio backing band for his solo album "Slánské pověsti" grew into a fully-fledged act that has played hundreds of gigs and released multiple albums over 25 years. Their sound blends folk, ska and punk rock with a brass section - saxophones, trumpet and flutes - alongside prominent female vocals.
