David Volenec is a Czech musician and member of Colorfactory, one of the defining alternative bands of the Czech 1990s scene. The group is closely tied to David Ondříček's cult film Šeptej, whose soundtrack draws heavily from their debut album - which won the Czech Grammy for Best Newcomer in 1996.
