Dakh Daughters is a Kyiv-based music and theatre collective founded in 2012 at the experimental Dakh theatre. The seven members - all actresses and musicians - weave live music, poetry, punk and Ukrainian folk into a genre-defying freak-cabaret. They came to international attention with their Maidan performance in December 2013 and the video for Rozy/Donbass; in November 2025 they received France's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
Dakh Daughters received the French Order of Arts and Letters (Ordre des Arts et des Lettres), which was presented to them by the French ambassador to Ukraine.
Dakh Daughters released their fourth studio album Pandora's Box (9 tracks, kontrabass label), dedicated to the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict.
The music video for the title track Pandora's Box was created using artificial intelligence and carries a satirical message about global indifference to war.
Dakh Daughters are included in the program of the Czech festival Rock for People 2026.
In autumn 2026, two concerts are planned: September 16 at Gogolfest in Kyiv and September 19 at Großes Eröffnungsfest in Cologne-on-Rhine.
