Chris Speed is a New York-based jazz saxophonist and clarinetist working at the intersection of avant-garde jazz and free improvisation. He has collaborated widely across the downtown New York scene and plays in groups including Pachora and Tim Berne's Snakeoil. He currently serves as saxophonist in The Bad Plus.
