Czechoslovak Radio was the state public radio broadcaster of Czechoslovakia, founded in 1923. During the Warsaw Pact invasion in August 1968, its staff played a crucial role by refusing to stop broadcasting and keeping the public informed about the occupation. After the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, it was succeeded by Czech Radio and Slovak Radio.
