CANTUS Jaroměř is a chamber vocal ensemble from Jaroměř, founded in 1988 and formally established in 1992. The mixed choir of fifteen singers, led by choirmaster Pavel Smékal, performs Czech and international repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the 20th century, with a particular fondness for spirituals. The ensemble has released two CDs and regularly performs in churches and chapels across Bohemia.
