A versatile actor, composer, and visual artist Igor Orozovič, nominated for the Thalia and Alfred Radok Awards, brings his programme to Špilberk's open-air stage.
Cabaret Calembour is a Prague theatre ensemble founded in 2009 by DAMU classmates Igor Orozovič, Milan Šotek and Jiří Suchý z Tábora. The group works in the tradition of Czech literary cabaret and small-form theatre, blending original songs, semi-improvised sketches and short plays. Over fifteen years it has earned two Český tučňák awards and the Alfréd Radok Prize for the play Plejtvák.
In April 2026, the Semafor Theatre premiered a new production of Krychlatá kVIdoule - the first performance of Cabaret Calembour created specifically for this stage, with a renewed cast.
In April 2025, Cabaret Calembour closed its sixteenth season with a joint evening with the Semafor Theatre.
On 30 November 2024, a Christmas performance in freestyle style took place at the Pod Palmovkou Theatre with special guest Amélie Lavaud.
In May 2024, Cabaret Calembour celebrated 15 years of existence with a festive performance on the main stage of the Pod Palmovkou Theatre.
In June 2024, Cabaret Calembour released its first music video for the song Devadesátky on the occasion of its 15th anniversary in Supraphon distribution.
